@yogthos An LATimes survey a few years back showed 80% of their homeless were either working or work-ready. 20% problem-ed. Mind you these numbers are LA only. In my town, they chase off all the working poor without work... a net economic drain, and replace them with institutionalized poor... b/c Grant Money. This town will help you and house you if you're a drug/addict, behavioral health 'case', but if you're willing to work? Kick rocks. Here those LATimes numbers are otro via.
