Don't laugh, folks. That was a sweet-ass system back then. You could hang a color Trinitron off it, or an accelerator card, or an Ethernet card. So much you could do with just one slot. SE/30 was choice.
Everything there looks extra-clean, too, like a restoration.
I bought my first Mac — a Plus, w/4mb of memory — in early '87; SE/30 was the sort of ultimate expression of the classic "Toaster" Mac. What are you using to read/post to Mastodon on that? How are you connected?
@flugennock Thanks, I’ve done quite a bit of work on this to get it working again. These SE/30s are special machines. I’m using Macstodon (https://github.com/smallsco/macstodon) and the system has an Asante Ethernet card in the PDS slot.
