@bassoonwrath does your bike have anything special for these conditions? I know fat tires are popular in Anchorage, but I haven't tried them out. I typically keep my bike in lock up until Spring. I'm a disappointing fair-weather biker

@jesse a mountain bike will work fine, but a fat bike is definitely better when there’s a fair bit of snow. I’m currently riding something in between (2.5”) year-round for commuting. It seems to hold up well in any conditions. A suitable lubricant for the chain is really important too in the cold…
