If you combine #Soviet (positive) cosmism with #Lovecraftian (negative) cosmicism, it appears that the USSR starship landed on a strange planet, found there not a depressing Tormance (already built on Earth nowadays), but a civilization of alien mushrooms, living on a planet with black rivers flowing under cyclopean bridges.
