I keep a scrapbook/visual diary of all my projects - this is my latest experiments with tea toned cyanotype on Japanese paper.

@DeborahParkin tea-toned cyanotype? what is this sorcery?! amazing

Deborah Parkin

@beach haha!! Thank you - just some cyanotypes that are bleached and then put in a tray of black tea :)

@DeborahParkin Love this Deborah. I don't keep a visual diary as such (other than the constant images I make!), but do keep a notebook with me all the time for ideas - locations, project thoughts, even just words that I like! :)

@iainsarjeant thanks Ian - that is really interesting - I love to hear how others create their work. I probably should do something similar - I write a journal & do this but never write down my ideas & I probably should. Thank you for sharing.

@DeborahParkin beautiful! I love crows. Some are yelling from trees right now, demanding I bring out peanuts which blue jays then eat

Deborah Parkin

@lamountain Thanks for sharing this, Molly - it sounds lovely. I love crows too - such intelligent birds :)

@DeborahParkin Everything about this is beautiful. The cyanotypes are especially poignant on the Japanese paper. Your
handwriting has a wonderful slant and style. This scrapbook is timeless.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
