Genre Mix. #Abandoned #Infrared #photography These were all shot on an old Sony a55 camera that I converted by hand to an IR camera. I disassembled the a55, removed the sensor and then took out the hot glass filter. A small plate of glass that filters UV, IR and some other light frequencies as well as protects the raw sensor. I hand cut a new filter from a 450nm screw on IR filter I had. It wasn't perfect, but it worked. I have a professionally converted a7r now. Will post those later. 5 comments
