@puzzler995 good for you! It's not for everyone, but it can be very helpful. There's just the nagging social expectations that "family is everything" and "no one will love you like them so you have to love them back" Both are not always true

But seriously, this is not something that is doable for everyone for a variety of reasons. If you can though, this can be very powerful and helpful to your mental health. It has been for me :bowie_heart:
