@Sups @Richard_Littler - try using hashtags of things that you are interested in. Put hashtags in you bio. When you see interesting posts in either your local feed or the federated feed boost the poster. Look at who people you do decide to follow follow themselves. Yes it’s a bit of work but you’ll have an interesting journey along the way. 😊
