@futurepunk @sacredbirdman @Gargron thats what it is in my opinion.
Ask yourself. Do you have more in comon with other working men and women even if they are on the other political specter than you, or do you think you have more in comon with the elite and the bankers?
Ask then why you are fighting other working class men and women.

I agree that we working class people have more in common with each other, across the borders than we have with the people in power. Also, they certainly have in their best interest to keep up at each others throats to not have solidarity towards each other... We should form unions and fight for the rights of the working class people and vote to reduce the power of the oligarchs.

@sacredbirdman @aagesundvor @Gargron not sure what the solution is - even unions can become too powerful & exploit their position - a few were taken over by the mafia - at their best they provide fairness & equity - at their worst they are essentially an extortion racket - this seems like a good place to potentially find answers:

Well, any organization or position can be corrupted, so that's not very good argument against organizing. We co-operation to exist as a species and any larger scale co-operation needs organization. We need to organize in a way that minimized the possibility of corruption such as: democracy, transparency, accountability and rotation of management.

@sacredbirdman @aagesundvor @Gargron maybe ideally 8 billion people = 8 billion independent organizations who have the ability to exist anywhere on an ideological sphere on any subject - that would be a more true decentralized democracy - only thing is, most people are too lazy to engage on that scale - which is probably why a liquid democracy party fizzled out in Europe

@sacredbirdman @aagesundvor @Gargron wonder if an idea should just be an 'idea' - rather than fix it to any particular position on a chart - it can be anywhere in a candy store - that way people are free to pick & mix

@futurepunk @sacredbirdman @Gargron I agree but for that to wprk we need a fundation to build the marketplace of ideas on, and that fundation have to be freedom of speach, the right to private ownership/property and the right to defend yourself.

With out these rights you have no rights.

And right to the pursuit of happiness.

@Gargron @aagesundvor @sacredbirdman Can't tell if this is a joke? - he wants to censor his thread about censorship - its a good indicator mastodon has been built by another wannabe dictator who wants to silence/censor people - twitter is toxic, but I've never been told to 'shut the fuck up' on it - think I will migrate to elastos feeds & support their initiative - I think anyone searching for the future of the internet will find mastodon is ultimately a dead end
