@CaribenxMarciaX @Are0h I'm so sad to see how long y'all have been here for and what you've dealt with. Sad but not surprised. Sigh. @timnitGebru We may also need better structures to speed up and improve reporting and sharing of blocklists across instances. The recent growth has been overwhelming, a lot of admins are still struggling to keep things online. At the same time there are more hate servers being created all the time. We gotta figure out how to get better at dealing with those, ideally not just resorting to playing whackamole using a hashtag. Indeed. There are some rumblings about how this would work within some members of the former Social WG (on here, in the IndieWeb, etc). I'm down to help facilitate a space for people to talk about this and help nudge it over to other forums. There's also organizations like https://www.tallpoppy.com/ (disclaimer: friends with the founder) that (tbh) the open Web should be trying to work with on things like this.
