All this time, I’d been wearing the blue side of the mask on my face and the white side facing the world, but apparently I should’ve been doing the opposite. The blue coating is waterproofing, and ostensibly you’d want this if defending against droplets from others. But SARS-CoV2 is spread via aerosols anyway so…I guess remember this for the next pandemic, one that is actually spread via contact and droplets.
