SmallTalk is a minimal, modern, friends and family focused Android messenger. Heavily inspired by Whatsapp and Signal, powered by Matrix.

Its goals are to be reliable and stable, and have a tiny app size.

It recently started supporting UnifiedPush, and publishing beta releases on Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/det

@IzzyOnDroid @unifiedpush 1st I’m hearing about it, but I must say without even looking at it just based on the name itself the creators probably don’t make good decisions. Smalltalk is the name of a programming language that’s at least 30 yrs old. Perhaps the messenger was created by millennials unaware of the language, otherwise they shouldn’t be hi-jacking terms that already have meaning in tech.
