@Gargron Charity is great, so don't get me wrong when I say this but ultimately, Twitch promotes these things to trick viewers into becoming content creators since the main source of income for their users is through donations. It's a marketing tactic that they can feel good about since it's for charity. Take this for example: https://influencermarketinghub.com/how-much-do-twitch-streamers-make/. So, people often do charity to up their viewer count. If you want to donate to [organization], you don't need to aid Amazon's algorithms to do it.
@TheOuterLinux I have been watching the Yogscast since 2010 and every Jingle Jam they have done since 2011, back before Amazon bought Twitch. Twitch has nothing to do with it.
