it's sad that the downfall of western civilization's relevance owes almost purely to our unwillingness to recognize each other & do the right things. the worst parts of the west are all against helping & improving things, trenchant monsters.

we try for a lot of good, but it's so scattershot & small scale. supporting & developing large scale food, health, & housing security- ideally with vastly better efficiency- is the name of the game. we return again to any idea of helping being politically obstructed.

more and more will keep needing help. everywhere. helping is the sign of a powerful culture.
