 1) I have donated to Wikipedia before but must admit I have not done so now for years now. 2) No idea other than not Conservapedia. @ruari Wikipedia is great because βanyone can edit itβ but on the handful of occasions Iβve added or edited information, itβs often been removed for being βnot notableβ (as in a random moderator in the USA didnβt care for my cited UK local knowledge) or it got removed because the βwriting styleβ felt βpromotionalβ. Iβve never felt welcomed when editing Wikipedia. @matt I have made a few edits and perhaps been lucky with them. No problems. P.S. I give all my searches to Ecosia right now. @matt I doubt they can ever be a big company because I don't think most people would understand why they should pay (or that they are paying anyway in other ways) but this was not your question. Worth it? Well for me it is. π @matt If your question was about quality. I remember once doing a search for sites that were running #mediawiki and finding a bunch of specialist subject wikis.
