@yogthos Cellulose was the OG filler before TVP and soy fillers existed. Been in use since at least the 1940s or 50s, and my guess is it's probably safer than TVP and the GMO soy fillers, which have little to do with vegetables or soy in the same way mechanically-rendered chicken has little to do with chicken post-processing.π€’ @yogthos I think they do that with those Eggo waffles. I remember when bread supposedly had sawdust in it. There was a comic about a guy with branches growing out his ears, and the doc asking what the problem was.
