The 15m figure was never accurate. @GossiTheDog @Mastodon @mastodonusercount @usercounts this was the account i was following. take a look at the numbers @sergiodomeyko The metric has always been useless, it doesn't tell you if the users are actually doing anything. Any service gets a lot of tire kickers who make an account and then never use it. Monthly or daily active users if you have that data is a much better indicator of how popular a social media site is. |
