@Some_Emo_Chick The Internet was originally designed as a communications network that could not be taken out by a nuclear attack (literally). That is why it doesn’t have communications hubs as single points of failure. The #Fediverse is its equivalent at a higher level: a social network that does not have a single point of control. It’s what #Europe should aim for: a resilient social web, impervious to attacks on single points of failure.
