The forcing of AI gen into everything makes me wanna puke.
Eventually the bubble will burst, it’s only a matter of time, but I think we still have years yet as more rollouts continue.
I await for The Great Reset.

@gamingonlinux Every time I used AI code I did need to correct it or validate it at least. I never could just use it, how should this work in a company? @gamingonlinux Relevant video: TL;DW: @gamingonlinux in general the way AI is being forced onto society is sickening, I look forward to when it all back fires on them all. @gamingonlinux I don't remember where, but I read the idea recently that this might be simply to make more products depend on a server connection, even though the product itself would work just fine locally. The goal is of course to first make people dependent, and then to exploit them as much as possible. @gamingonlinux why do we still call it ai its llms -.- they just generate text nothing more based on data they stole from the ebtire internet. Its like machine learning that was also a hype and what did we get? Sorting mashines -.- nice. @gamingonlinux @gamingonlinux AI is an answer to a question that none of us have asked. Plus, it's environmentally destructive in terms of massive water usage. Do we really need another device to destroy our planet, all in the pursuit of corporations and 1%ers to make another buck? @gamingonlinux I'm kind of glad I'm not teach college. Students would rather destroy the planet than write a damn term paper. @gamingonlinux oh damn in german news they are now sorting organic waste with ai :D https://www.az-online.de/uelzen/stadt-uelzen/ki-wacht-nun-ueber-biomuell-im-landkreis-uelzen-93468223.html @gamingonlinux What we really need to figure out, and apologies for the crude language, is how to firmly affix its anus to its mouth. These "creators" need to be overwhelmed by "consumers" @gamingonlinux wonder if anyone has put together a "no AI" index fund for investing @gamingonlinux with every passing day, Tracer Tong from the Deus Ex series has a point about the dangers of a consolidated web. @gamingonlinux Yeah. It's useful for some things but my good it's not for so many more. Stop making your things worse just to be able to add AI. |
@gamingonlinux It just reminds me of when companies were trying to shove blockchain into everything but the barrier to entry was higher so it (thankfully) didn’t get past the planning stage in most cases.
