@deadofwinter @cheetah_spottycat I think the resistance here to consensual sexuality being seen as something incriminating despite it being so widespread makes a lot of sense. I still think it's sensible for sexual content to continue having content warnings. In my mind they are compatible. Here we CW many things that aren't harmful for many people, such as food, eye contact and saddening news... |
@deadofwinter @cheetah_spottycat Yeah, it can be something you’re not interested in finding out about or seeing, and I get that, but the examples given are ones where people are having their own sex lives being displayed in public without their permission in order to shame them. What OP is saying is that being sexual is not a bad thing or worthy of shame.
As an imperfect analogy, using the bathroom is nothing to be ashamed of, but most people close the door.
