im shutting down worm.pink, the fedi instance, xmpp, everything basically, january 31st.

this has been on my mind for a while, but recently ive felt like shutting it down a lot more, and im decided now. the reasons arent special. i could say burnout, or i have other things to focus on, or i just dont like social media, or i dont like moderating shit, but i kind of just want to kill it.

i hope you enjoyed worm.pink's presence at least. ive made some friends. i hope people think of this instance as silly rather than annoying. im glad i could maybe at least provide a bit of joy to some people. im sorry if this disappoints anyone, especially sorry to anyone who made an account recently. ill help anyone with migrating to other services.

ive made some vague shitposts about nuking everything and disappearing, i dont plan on migrating this account, idk when ill make a new account. ill still be on some mumble servers. my signal is fujoshi.01, idk if ill keep using xmpp ill have to get a new account. ill still use my email rat@firemail.cc too
