It's a reasonably useful definition of success, feeling good being myself. I'm an artist very aware of conflict between why I pursue art (emotional healing) & material success that requires marketing, sales, thinking that I find antithetical to feeling good. I consider artists who achieve worldly success, money & recognition, who died by their own hands or suffer addictions. I surely don't want that. I want to feel good. I find that incompatible with making a living.
