@ptrc yes, and that's also why I feel the hate on Electron is undeserved because app devs can't be blamed for bad gui toolkits

@eloy that depends though. hobbyist apps made by just a random guy? yeah, but an app made by a corporation with a dev team and virtually unlimited funding? no excuse there

@ptrc @eloy even funnier when they have a webapp too but said webapp is leagues worse than the electron app for no actual reason

@eloy @ptrc I would honestly argue developing webapps for electron is insanely difficult and needlessly awful compared to something like fltk or wx and only popular because web designers are a dime a dozen and actual gui toolkits require hiring a programmer.
