@keyboards The 5150 also had a tech manual, in black as I recall, which had ROM listings and schematics for the main board.
Unlike other Personal Computer makers (like Apple), IBM tried to ensure that tech data wasn't as useful as it could be. Technically all the info was there, but not in a form that was easy to use.
