@StillIRise1963 @GossiTheDog I hosted my own for a few months on Cloudflare, but the server kept filling up and I had to figure out how to navigate the Linux command line, remove files, and restart stuff. Was a big pain. Then I found https://masto.host/ and that has been amazing. My server is just $9 a month and the guy who manages it takes care of everything. But being part of any other server is equally awesome. It's all about the community.
