@loren That‘s a fundamental question of our universe: why are there never enough nuthatches? ☝️🥹✨ @loren True. I thought every reasonable person does (or should do). To be honest: that‘s one if my first questions of the day - well, after a reasonable amount of coffee, of course. Another question is: what are the nuthatches asking about. 🤔 @loren Fortunately in my region there is - well, not enough of course but: a number of nuthatches that easily reaches „not too few“. 😌  @loren This pic reminds me that yesterday I *almost* won Wingspan yesterday and my first card was a Red-Breasted Nuthatch!  @loren We all know that without them, many tree species would go extinct (nuts could never hatch) and there would no longer be a species strong enough to open brazil nuts or precise enough to get whole walnuts out. Never enough nuthatches. |
@loren They're so cute!! I have trouble taking pictures of them though! But they're always upside down at the feeders 😍
