If you think Turkish Delights is bland you have only had terrible Turkish Delight. That's very sad :-(
If you're expecting a gummy bear it's nowhere near as cloying, but instead you get a rich nuanced flavour (my favourite is the traditional rose), enhanced by the powdered sugar exterior. It's *so* good!

@deirdrebeth @dalias i have had good turkish delight before, and yes, it can be quite good! if i encounter a random place with it in the wild it's still a crapshoot, of course, but that's true of several foods.
