@nazokiyoubinbou Except for .social, it's certainly how we welcomed Threads. >:D @nazokiyoubinbou i haven’t seen one yet, but i have seen a couple of generically spammy accounts. @nazokiyoubinbou @catsalad the corporation. They tried the fediverse once. Then acted bad and then treated people like shit. Idk if they're still here. Iirc thats when they hired the cop. @nazokiyoubinbou @catsalad I'll try to be honest and say "it probably depends" but that episode was so flamboyantly bad that it discouraged many fediverse people from ever using any rpi hardware. Even if it was probably caused by just one bad employee, it seems that some well known other employees tried to defend the bad behaviour, so it I would say that it was quite bad for the corp as a whole. @f4grx @nazokiyoubinbou Oh, it looks like it was two years ago. We have so many hardware enthusiasts here that moved to other alternatives because of all of that crap. FAFO in action. lol By @ne1for23 @nazokiyoubinbou @f4grx I think it's referring to the raspberry pi social media admin who was a fascist bastard from 1.5 years ago. He was treated accordingly too, little fucker. @nazokiyoubinbou @f4grx One of the relevant post about this: By @volt4ire @catsalad @f4grx @volt4ire Oof. I hate that terrible people are ruining everything. At least once upon a time the RPi seemed like a good thing. Certainly the *idea* was sound. But then even great ideas can be ruined by terrible people I guess. EDIT: Also, I want to say thank you for going to the trouble to dig up an old post for me like that! @catsalad hostility is the only appropriate response to those with hostile intent @da_667 I'm pretty sure I originally got it from you a while back. Lol @catsalad@infosec.exchange and the corpo discovers 10 parody accounts of it :neocat_evil_3c: @catsalad If I ever get a house, I'm taking this and printing it and putting it right by the front door. @catsalad it’s called neoliberalism, you know someone’s objectively evil but still give them the benefit of the doubt because “the truth is in the middle”, “we both made mistakes” |
@catsalad Has it happened even once?
