I'm happy to announce the *Libreboot T480*:

ThinkPad T480 *with Libreboot pre-installed*, to replace proprietary BIOS/UEFI firmware. Your choice of Debian Linux, other distro or BSD.

Libreboot offers greater security and faster boot speeds than Lenovo firmware. T480 is 8th gen (Kabylake Refresh), replacing Libreboot T440p, which was 4th gen (Haswell).

@Alephwyr nope. in fact, i'm offering several current t440p customers the t480 as an upgrade (at no extra cost) - i'd like to avoid purchasing more t440p if i can avoid it.

if you really do want to buy t440p though, i'm happy to sell that to you. but i'll sell it at the same price that i now sell the t480.
