@GossiTheDog For everyone reading this, not just the OP : Sure, Mastodon is nice as it gave Fediverse some well-deserved boost years ago, but in general and especially for geeks/nerds I would like to see credit and more attention for similar software like Akkoma, Sharkey and others as well. https://activitypub.software/TransFem-org/Sharkey

 @regendans @GossiTheDog Friendica is still the best, sadly its name in english sounds like a cheap knockoff of friendster or it would do so much better. It can't compete with a chibi fuzzy elephant mascot.
