Disenfranchised hardly seems enough to describe that picture and yet that was the word that came to mind. Perhaps "never franchised" would be more accurate. 😧  @mmiasma @best_of_mltshp Maybe because it is a very familiar view I don’t find it so bleak at all. A little sad yes —that not as many people care about those sagging steel towns— but people stepped out of houses on hillsides like that one and rocked the whole earth. |
