@Coolmccool Didn’t get close. Way upon top of a tall dead tree. That's a very long lens and a very tight crop. @andrewrock 500mm? And a tripod, of course? (Sorry, asking because I did an online photography course last night - just a lecture, really) And would you recommend any online photography courses? @Coolmccool Canon RF 200-800 mm at 800 mm, hand-held! If the light is there, your camera has good high ISO performance, and you use AI noise reduction software, you can get away with a lot. I like Jan Wegener on YouTube for a good balance of gear and technique. Worth trawling back through his channel. @andrewrock Gorgeous photo. And his pose & expression are priceless.
