I know this doesn't help this situation, but it is heartening to read in your thread that you care deeply about this situation.
It sometimes feels like most people are just letting these things happen with a smile on their face, not caring about the consequences.
Knowing that some people ARE worried, and do see the reasons for concern... that makes the world feel less cold and lonely, and more human, if that makes any sense.
