@proycon curious which processor is in this. Also, curious how your experience will be with sxmo on a laptop. The question was raised in this video on #postmarketos #SXMO performance: youtube.com/watch?v=z6Ff7L3Ea9

@crft @proycon btw I run pmOS+sway on my x13s (no sxmo), and I think it's pretty great. It even runs GNOME desktop pretty well (I have less experience using it regularly though)

@crft @craftyguy Interesting video! I hadn't seen that one yet.

I must say that after first trying sxmo yesterday, the next thing I did was port my regular laptop/desktop experience to the x13s, which is currently #riverwm . Now I can easily switch between both. I was pleasantly surprised with sxmo on the laptop, as I have a x13s with touchscreen and that's when it excels. Worked surprisingly well out-of-the-box.

@proycon oh, I didn't even consider the benefit of the touchscreen in this situation. Hoping that #AlpineLinux moves #RiverWM into community. :)

@proycon @crft someone should post a video showing what it's like to use sxmo on a touchscreen laptop 😁

@craftyguy @crft Hah, not a bad idea, perhaps I will give it a try some day. 😀

We're also playing with the idea of supporting #riverwm in #sxmo, I already have some patches in preparation building on earlier work by @stacyharper . Now I have this laptop I have more reason to finish it, but on a smaller mobile device I think sway remains the most sensible choice as it has good tabbed layouts.
