@thinkpadmuseum So far most of what I tried works, a notable but important exception is suspend/hibernation. I also haven't tried to get the camera working yet. See https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Lenovo_ThinkPad_X13s_(lenovo-21bx) @proycon /home/user/.local/var/pmbootstrap or /var and pointing pmbootstrap init to a Makes the installation much smoother. @m Oh thanks! I didn't encounter that issue though. Installation went pretty smooth. @proycon curious which processor is in this. Also, curious how your experience will be with sxmo on a laptop. The question was raised in this video on #postmarketos #SXMO performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6Ff7L3Ea9c @crft @proycon Qualcomm 8cx Gen3 / SC8280XP https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Lenovo_ThinkPad_X13s_(lenovo-21bx) @crft @craftyguy Interesting video! I hadn't seen that one yet. I must say that after first trying sxmo yesterday, the next thing I did was port my regular laptop/desktop experience to the x13s, which is currently #riverwm . Now I can easily switch between both. I was pleasantly surprised with sxmo on the laptop, as I have a x13s with touchscreen and that's when it excels. Worked surprisingly well out-of-the-box. @proycon oh, I didn't even consider the benefit of the touchscreen in this situation. Hoping that #AlpineLinux moves #RiverWM into community. :) @craftyguy @crft Hah, not a bad idea, perhaps I will give it a try some day. 😀 We're also playing with the idea of supporting #riverwm in #sxmo, I already have some patches in preparation building on earlier work by @stacyharper . Now I have this laptop I have more reason to finish it, but on a smaller mobile device I think sway remains the most sensible choice as it has good tabbed layouts. |
@proycon Nice machine, congratulations! What does the hardware support look like these days?
