Heated mouse pad (not currently plugged in) is bed now, if only I had thought to place another soft surface on the desk for her to lie on or something.

@fringemagnet I didn't know heated mouse pads existed. Checking Amazon I also see that they now have heated mice. Where have those been all my life?!!? @mjausson I had no idea they existed either, until I saw someone post about them a couple of years ago. There are apparently heated desk mats too, covering the entire keyboard area, but there is a 10000% chance that if I get one of those both my cats will confiscated it permanently. π @StephenTallentyre It definitely got some getting used to, switching from my old keyboard, still thinking I may get a separate bluetooth numpad at some point tbh. Tbh, a lot of it's that I have my media controls bound to my number pad, and I've had that setup for long enough that it's muscle memory at this point, lol. Same thing with function keys (for my workspaces). Do you use a tiling window manager? @StephenTallentyre Nope, not on this PC. I get what you're saying though, I got most media controls tied to my mouse and a this stage I couldn't go back to one with fewer buttons. @fringemagnet A heated mouse pad does seem interesting for those cold days where I'm particularly sick... Thx for the tip. |
