A little rescued owl at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness, NH from 2014. It has SUPER BIG EYES OMG tawny feathers with white and dark browns scattered in. The feet are resting on employee’s leather glove, toes on its left food are curled towards each other.

Owl sitting on branch in a snarl of a tree that’s got lots of dead branches and lichen growing off some of them. Except for the big saucer shaped eyes it is well camouflaged

owl perched on power line next to tree, everything is covered in a few inches of snow, the owl is looking over its shoulder at you, you are happy not to be a small rodent or fluffy rabbit

Spring with fresh green leaves everywhere and tucked up next to the thick trunk of a tree is an owl, maybe snoozing but more likely thinking about a snack.
