 it's a term that has been used in a reclamatory sense, for decades, specifically to describe non-academic archaeologists  @sarae I am using it for tagging purposes. We have more than just academics on there. :) Also, the academics is a signifier for the bigger "academics" list from various disciplines this one branched off from. I am happy to add more categories on the list for more fieldwork-oriented folks. There are a number of CRM firms on there too. Happy for suggestions. |
