Hamas had two elements. 1) the social infrastructure to make life bearable for the Palestinians of Gaza; 2) a military wing opposed to oppression by Israel. More than that requires detailed knowledge of what was going on before 7 October. No, my comment was strictly about framing. The correct framing is the one that correctly identifies the ethical issue at hand, so aptly identified in the video. The single, most important aspect of any public affairs is going to be deciding what moral question is the relevant one. she’s made amazing argument to restate what is relevant. |

These arguments are Masterclass in framing, and framing used to engaged the moral sentiments of their audiences.
Because the framing about Israel has always implied a counter to the Holocaust, and that framing has been used to obliterate that the argument anlso applies to Palestinians.
