I want to see young women fight back and not doubt themselves. Shame needs to change places. When that happened to me, I didn’t speak out because no one had my back. This is a misogynist patriarchy. And if a boy or a man tells you what they’re going to do to you, believe them. The racism and sexism are not benign. They are not harmless.
