The worst thing about the Final Fantasy series being VA'd is that we now know that 'gil' has a hard g in its pronunciation.
A friend of my wife, meanwhile, decided to pronounce .gif files 'yiff', and that's one of the worst things ever so of course I had to start doing it too.
