It's not a gendered thing, it's an arrogant asshole thing.
I've seen authors of scientific papers having been told what their papers ACTUALLY show.
And people with doctorates in a very narrow and esoteric fields being told THE TRUTH about their personal area of expertise
It happens frequently enough to fill me with joy for the epic self own.
