Goldfish live 10-15 years or longer for some types. they produce a lot of waste, have a large space requirement, and tanks take time to set up. You're saddling people with responsibilities they didn't sign up for, haven't researched, and are unprepared to shoulder, and animals with unintentionally cruel and short lives.
