Panel 3: a large blob person labeled “BRAND” smiles with a pineapple on their head; the amorphous people back away frowning and reach for their own head-pineapples
Panel 4: BRAND blob people proudly show each other their pineapples; the amorphous people have left theirs on the floor and walk away
@ZySoua OK! With that out of the way [takes deep breath] I feel a tremendous urge to wear a head-pineapple. I know it’s just a silly example, but it’s really resonating with me.
Pineapples used to be really hard to get in the English-speaking world and people would throw parties to have their friends look at their unbelievably expensive tropical fruit. This feels subversive, in that light.
