Somebody posted this quote accredited to Mark Twain, but it's not actually by Twain and appeared on the web maybe around the 2000s or something.

Which means, whoever did come up it isn't getting the credit they deserve.

But also, if they'd just said it themselves instead of crediting Twain, it probably would have been ignored forever.

Anyway, it's probably one of the most true statements ever.
