Also, I haven't been active in the skeptic community for decades, so was saddened at the list of people who have migrated into being professional racists since I knew them during the JREF days. I am not surprised about Shermer, saddened about Dawkins.

@altruios Dawkins was always a teeny intolerant in his attitudes towards people, but it was sort of understandable, at the outset. His anti-religion schtick just slowly drifted into being specifically anti-Muslim, and steadily also migrated down the TERF path. It is a damned shame, because the guy is clever and added a lot of value before. |
