 @godteeth Sadly my choice is limited by the technology I have available to play it back.  @godteeth@gnu.gl CD and Casette are rather dated... Casette seems cool but I heard it's unreliable. I would get the USB drive and put it into Casette myself if I so wish, then copy the files everywhere. @godteeth I voted cassette just to throw the numbers off. j/k! No seriously, I just got an old 2000 VW Beetle that has a cassette player in it so this is like the one time in the past 20 years that I could answer 'cassette' and have it be the actual answer.   CDs have great audio quality and you can bring them anywhere. Very often cars still have CD players. A CD is also a nice thing to collect. They don't take up space like cassettes do and can't easily be overwritten like USB drives.   @godteeth USB drive (or network download) requires me to ask questions about file formats, but if they can say "yes, there's FLACs on here" then that's fine.   @godteeth download link? I would never put a strange USB drive in my computer and I no longer have a CD drive in any of them either. @mikebabcock i considered this state of being, in my ideal scenario any physical formats would come with or be an option beside a QR code or explicit url to a download link @godteeth I bet you could qr code the song itself... Maximum qr code storage is 3kb so it might be quite a few but still |
