So between 4:00 and 6:00 am, Oreo tunneled through 3ft of insulation in the rafters of the basement to access the dormer on the back of the house. He then proceeds to crawl up into the damn attic. Melissa, convinced he's in the wall, has me cut a hole. He wasn't in there, but I could hear him clearly from above. So, after peaking through the attic fan vent to confirm, I opened the garage access and pulled his dumbass out. Rafters are blocked off solid now.

@Callalily
It made for an interesting few hours. Not how I like to wake up on a Sunday.

I honestly never thought an animal would attempt doing it.

@That_One_Guy Wipe him down good so he doesn’t ingest fiberglass when he grooms himself.

@That_One_Guy it's not funny but πŸ˜‚ so typical for cats

I once lived in an apartment where one of my cats really did get into a wall, and was actually stuck there. I cut a hole in the wall and there he was staring at me and meowing. I had to make the hole bigger to finally get him out

@That_One_Guy My cats are indoor cats, and one of them just LOVES to go out into the garage. Her new thing is jumping up into the "attic" of the garage through a hole in the drywall ceiling. She can then get into the soffitting and travel all around the outside of the house, meowing the whole time. I know she wants to come back inside when I hear her jump down onto my car into the garage again.
