Gregory's Server@ThePlant That Blogpost is so bad. Brendan Eisch was the co-founder of #mozilla so we can claim the same about Firefox (the part about the "Hateful browser") Then we have the part about the AD experiment, well guess what? We have the same bs in Firefox now also.
Yes I do believe we should do something against the Browser monopoly but what is the alternative? A slower, less compatible browser with the same AD philosophy? The only browser that should be recommended should be the #ladybirdbrowser

@ThePlant I am on no way defending Brave but common. Look at Mozilla and tell me exactly how they are better? The World is not black and white, it is grey. I will still use Firefox until the day it is no longer possible but I would lie if I said it had been all perfect this whole time @ThePlant And just to be clear I do not use the Brave browser at all. I have been a Firefox user for years now. But it is getting harder each year to stick with it. Fun fact: In my country Firefox has around 20% of the desktop browser marketshare according to Statcounter @Lu_Die_Milchkuh @ThePlant notice how Brendan Eich is no longer part of Mozilla? And also notice how you can criticise Firefox while also recognising it is the best option for most people? Firefox has its problems, sure, but saying it is on the same level as Brave doesn’t make sense. |
