@thibaultmol @ThePlant I actually use Floorp because it has the old pre Firefox 88 UI ported forward. And it's built on the ESR branch. I don't like the standard release branch. @thibaultmol Yikes, Floorp recently discontinued userChrome CSS mods in release binaries. Last sane version seems to be 11.16. @thibaultmol Yeah, Zen just looks like Safari for a modern macOS. I have a very specific look I was targetting and Floorp helped get there. Shame it dropped userChrome in it's newer releases. @JackRacc wel tbf, the selling point of zen is the ui customization through it's mod/theme store. But yeah, i get it if you're going for a specific look @thibaultmol I was a huge fan of Classic Theme Restorer for NPAPI back in those days. I just want pre FF 88 UI with a movable hamburger menu and all extensions shown rather than hidden in a button. If I had more time to research, hopefully there will be a way in Zen, but I still like the ESR channel. |
@thibaultmol @ThePlant Yet I do know people that are overall concerned about Mozilla becoming a adtech/AI company as well. We need a new web rendering engine made by people and actually for the people.
